Hi! My name is Kathleen Nguyen and I am a recent public relations graduate from the University of Oregon’s School of Journalism and Communication with minors in business administration and communication studies.
I currently work for the University of Oregon’s Parent and Family Programs, where I assist with the communication, membership and event planning for more than 9,000 parent and family members of UO students. Our mission is to keep parents and family members involved and informed while their student is attending the University of Oregon.
I served as the finance director for the University of Oregon’s Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) for the 2013-2014 school year, where I oversaw the annual budget as well as directed the campus collaboration committee efforts to connect with other student groups and organizations. I was an account executive for Allen Hall Public Relations (AHPR), a student-run firm.
